Proud Mama!

darkrivertempestI'm SOOOO proud of my baby! (see him there between Colin and Brad? He's quite a bit taller now, but you get the idea.)
Tonight, he was just inducted into the National Junior Honor Society!!!!!! He's made straight A's all year AND he's got extra-curricular activities out the wazoo to boot!
He plays saxophone (tenor and soprano) and he wants to learn, get this... the bagpipes! (son after my own heart!)
PLUS! He just tried out for Track and Field - and he made the team!!!!!! OMG, where is this kid coming up with all this energy?
*sniffs* He's growing up so fast - he'll be 14 in July, right when the next Harry Potter movie comes out and he's already got a peach-fuzz mustache. *GAH! I'm crying*
I feel old. But through him, I'm young again. :D
