What are your middle names? Colleen for me and William for Dave (when at his father’s we have to say the middle name because almost all the males in his family are named David.

How long have you been together? Since 6/25/05 – almost 4 years.

How long did you know each other before you started dating? LOL, well... um about 1 day? We met through a mutual friend and he called me later the next day.

Who asked who out? He did – which was new for me, because I’d never been asked out, I swear. I was kinda floored.

How old are each of you? He is 52 and I’m 36 – we honestly can’t tell the age gap – he’s a hippie :D

Whose siblings do/did you see the most? Mine since they’re only 20 mins away from us.

Do you have any children together? Nope. I have one from a previous marriage. He elected (ie, his ex-wife forced him) to have a vasectomy just after they got married.

What about pets? 5 cats – he IS the Cat Whisperer! (Makes sense, he’s a Leo)

Which situation has been the hardest on you as a couple? His ex-wife and the debt she racked up while he was married to her ($50,000+). It’s always a bone of contention.

Did you go to the same school? LMAO, considering he graduated before I even started school, it’s a safe bet to say NO. Plus, he lived in Washington, D.C.

Are you from the same home town? Nope, see above. He moved to Columbus, Ohio in 1986 for business.

Who is the smartest? Depends on the subject. Anything medical – I am. Anything political – he is. On other subjects we’re about even, though I detest math.

Who is the most sensitive? Depends on how one looks at it. I’ve only seen Dave cry twice in the whole time I’ve known him, and will go ‘awww’ at appropriate times. However, Dave has too much Virgo in him, making him almost totally analytical. Plus, Dave is a great negoiator for conflicting factions. City Hall loves him. Me? My tongue is sharp and I’m quite the bitch. Poor guy, I feel sorry for him.

Where do you eat out most as a couple? Mmm China Dynasty! YUM!

Where is the furthest you two have traveled together as a couple? As a couple, Washington D.C.

Who has the craziest exes? Dave, definitely. She tried to set the house on fire.

Who has the worst temper? Depends, again. I let things simmer and I’m passive aggressive (ie, I refuse to talk to him, acknowledge him) and that tends to prod him into action – stern and loud voice. I’ve never seen him angrier than yelling. Me? I’ll walk away and not tell anybody anything. They could send out a search party and never find me – which pisses him off to the extreme.

Who does the cooking? Mostly me, but he’s a great cook!

Who is more social? Politically, Dave is, but otherwise we socialize just about the same.

Who is the neat-freak? HAHAHAHAHHAHA, was that a question? *snickers* Neither of us! Though if I’m angry, I clean to work out my issues – the house becomes spotless!

Who is the more stubborn? Me! I’d put a two-ton boulder to shame. I refuse to move on most things, mostly because I’ve already seen the outcome of certain things and I stay where I need to in order to keep things somewhat sane.

Who hogs the bed? Neither, we’re both cuddlers, even when back-to-back – we sleep poorly is the other isn’t there.

Who wakes up earlier? Me @ 7 am. It’s such an ungodly hour, too. He gets to go into work whenever – this sucks ass, just so you know.

Where was your first date? LOL, depends on what you consider the first date – when we met we were going to an art festival – or later that day to Applebees.

Who has the bigger family? Well, Dave is a product of a broken home – his dad remarried and so did his mother – hence he has 3 half-brothers (only 1 he remotely gets along with). I have 2 younger full siblings and we’re always getting along. We spend more time with my family than his because they’re in D.C.

Do you get flowers often? Not really, but occasionally he’ll get them just because (which is the best). That or when we’ve been in a row.

How do you spend holidays? We’ve never spent a holiday apart. We are usually at my parents.

Who is more jealous? Me. Without a doubt. Dave likes everyone equally. I tend to be possessive (the Scorpio in me tends to overrule my saner side) and that’s probably why a lot of my relationships ended.

How long did it take to get serious? *big grin* What do you mean by serious??? LOL, um... 2 days?

Who eats more? Me, but Dave will eat ANYTHING! He’s like Mikey.

Who does the laundry? ME! I’m a bit OCD in that – no one does it right but me. He just benefits from it.

Who is better with the computer? He is. He’d better be, he’s a Database Admin – he gets paid to be more proficient.

Who drives when you are together? I must have some kind of depth-perception problem because I can’t stand when other people drive if I’m in the front seat. I practically hide under the dash and whimper. Probably because I was in ONE car accident my whole life – the semi-truck took out the back half of my car. My back and nerves have never been the same. So, if Dave wants no complaining (because he’s a total lead foot and tailgater) he’ll let me drive.

And I HATE LJ sometimes! Unless I'm working in Semagic the LJ cuts don't work (grrr)
